EPAM (EPA&P), Russia's leading national law firm, has been named "Law Firm of the Year: Russia & the CIS" in The Lawyer European Awards 2009.
The Awards ceremony, which took place in Barcelona last night, has recognized EPAM' pre-eminent position in the CIS region and the firm's outstanding achievements over the past 12 months.
The Lawyer European Awards are compiled by The Lawyer Magazine and recognize the success of the continent's leading law firms.
EPAM' competitors for Law Firm of the Year: Russia & the CIS award included other Russian and Ukrainian law firms as well as global law firms with offices in Russia and the CIS.
EPAM was also a finalist for the 2009 European Law Firm of the Year.
Commenting on the award Dimitry Afanasiev, the member of the Partners' Committee of EPA&P, said:
