Roman advises and represents Russian and international clients before arbitrazh courts and courts of general jurisdiction in commercial and corporate disputes, as well as in standalone disputes arising from bankruptcy proceedings.

His recent highlights include:

• Defending a Russian fashion retailer from unjustified multi-billion rouble claims in a dispute over the invalidation of a transaction during bankruptcy proceedings against a major chain of department stores.
• Representing a domestic automotive manufacturer involved in multiple lawsuits  over the recovery of billions of roubles in damages caused by an international automotive group’s departure from the Russian market.
• Defending a major Russian group providing freight forwarding services in the railway transportation sector in a series of legal disputes with a major Russian leasing company over the recovery of lease payments worth hundreds of millions of roubles.
• Representing a Russian distributor of foreign agricultural machinery in a dispute over the recovery of a fine for failure to deliver goods due to international sanctions.
• Defending a former Olympic investor in a series of legal disputes over the seizure of assets in favour of the state and termination of long-term leases for land plots in the Krasnodar Krai.
• Representing a Russian company in a dispute over the recovery of unduly debited funds in the amount of RUB 25 bn from a bank.
• Representing a Russian businessman in a corporate conflict over a prestigious international school in Moscow.
• Defending a foreign investor in a dispute over the seizure of shares in Russia’s largest car dealer in favour of the state.
• Advising on legal disputes over the protection of the sole heir to business assets from third-party claims to shares in the business.

Prior to joining the Firm, Roman worked at a well-known Russian law firm.

Roman graduated with honours from the Faculty of Law of Lomonosov Moscow State University (2022).

He is admitted to the Moscow Bar.
