Pavel is focused on representing clients in arbitrazh (commercial) courts and courts of general jurisdiction, including complex multijurisdictional litigation.

Pavel’s representative experience includes*:

• Advising a major banking group in a multijurisdictional settlement. The disputes, originating from unfavorable transaction, were adjudicated in both Russian and Cypriot courts, reaching a total of RUB 150bn in claims.
• Advising on litigation in Cypriot court seeking recovery of losses reaching RUB 9bn, caused to a major Russian banking group by asset diversion and unfavorable transactions during a period of insolvency.
• Enforcing a RUB 200bn Cypriot court judgement in asset-diversion case involving a Russian energy company.
• Representing a client in a series of disputes arising from a counterparty’s breach of a RUB 2bn land sale.
• Defensing a leading Moscow restaurant brand’s trademark right against invalidation claims and a RUB 1.5 damages demand.
• Recovering approximately RUB 100m in damages from a state fund director over misrepresented construction work performed by affiliates on a housing project.
• Representing a client in an insolvency proceeding of a Russian–South African construction company, successfully unwinding asset-diversion transactions that benefited an affiliate and negotiating a settlement.

Prior to joining EPAM Law in 2026, Pavel has worked in several Russian law firms.

Pavel holds a Bachelor’s degree from Ivanovo State University, a Master’s degree from Kutafin Moscow State Law University.

He holds a PhD in law from the National Research University Higher School of Economics, where he also lectures.

Pavel is an attorney-at-law and a member of the Moscow Bar Association.
