Nikita advises clients and represents their interests in arbitrazh courts in complex commercial disputes, including bankruptcy and corporate matters.
Nikita’s representative experience includes:
- Defending the director of a company engaged in the construction of sports and infrastructure facilities, including a stadium and metro stations, as well as other major projects, against the imposition of subsidiary liability in the amount of RUB 4.7 billion.
- Defending a bank management board member against the imposition of subsidiary liability in the amount of RUB 1.2 billion and in proceedings challenging transactions.
- Representing a Russian agricultural enterprise in a dispute against a Polish equipment manufacturer that sought to have the dispute heard in Russia despite an arbitration clause in favour of the LCIA.
- Representing a Chinese supplier in ICAC proceedings against a Russian customer by obtaining a stay of proceedings pending resolution of parallel arbitration in China.
- Defending companies within an international holding group in a dispute against Russia’s largest bank concerning the recovery of a foreign entity’s contractual debt from its Russian subsidiaries.
- Defending a Dutch bank in a dispute against one of Russia’s largest banks concerning the recovery of debt under a derivatives swap agreement.
- Defending a supplier of chemicals for oil production in a dispute with a subsidiary of Russia’s largest oil-producing company.
- Preparing legal opinions on the prospects of a commercial dispute involving a foreign element and on the legal regime governing state secrets for one of Russia’s leading aircraft engine repair enterprises.
- Advising on the bankruptcy of a major metallurgical enterprise in the Sverdlovsk Region, with creditor claims exceeding RUB 14 billion.
- Advising on the bankruptcy of a food supplier from the Eurozone, with creditor claims exceeding RUB 1.2 billion.
Nikita also has experience participating in the preparation of expert opinions on Russian law for use in proceedings before foreign courts.
Before joining the Firm in 2025, Nikita worked at several Russian law firms.
He is admitted to the Moscow Bar Association.
