The London Commercial Court found in favour of UC RUSAL, the world's largest aluminum producer, declaring the purported sale of the 3.99% stake in February 2018 by Crispian to Whiteleave in MMC Norilsk Nickel "invalid and ineffective".

EPAM Helps Bank Saint Petersburg Secure Victory at High Court in London in Precedent-Setting Dispute With Vitaly Arkhangelsky

A team from the Litigation Practice at EPAM helped Bank Saint Petersburg to secure victory at the High Court in London in its dispute with borrower Vitaly Arkhangelsky and Oslo Marine Group Ports (OMG Ports).Proceedings in this case began back in 2009 and have spanned four jurisdictions: Russia, Bulgaria, France, and England. Over 20 cases were heard in the Russian courts, whose rulings were recognised and enforced overseas.

EPAM Defends the Interests of Razvitie Zdorovia i Sporta in Litigation Seeking to Recover Billions of Rubles’ Worth of Losses

Litigation attorneys from the St. Petersburg Office of EPAM have defended the interests of Razvitie Zdorovia i Sporta LLC in a dispute over the recovery of billions of roubles’ worth of losses. The Commercial Court upheld the view taken by the Firm’s associates and dismissed the claim seeking the recovery of over RUB 1 billion. In addition, the Commercial Court granted a counterclaim filed by Razvitie Zdorovia i Sporta seeking to recover RUB 100 million from the plaintiff.
