Lawyers from EPAM Law’s Dispute Resolution practice successfully defended a company belonging to the international Puratos Group in a dispute with a licensed regional operator providing municipal solid waste management services.
The firm’s lawyers were tasked with resolving, at the pre-litigation stage, a dispute concerning the recovery of an alleged debt of RUB 176 million.
As a result of their work, the EPAM Law team developed a compelling legal position and, following several rounds of negotiations, secured a pre-litigation settlement that significantly reduced the amount claimed against the client.
