With effect from 1 July 2026, Yulia Baimakova and Anna Rodygina of the M&A and Corporate Law Practice, Levan Dzhioev of the Criminal Law Practice, and Alexandra Mednikova of the Litigation and Arbitration Practice have been appointed Counsel at EPAM Law.
Yulia Baimakova has more than 10 years’ experience advising Russian and international clients on a broad range of transactional, corporate restructuring and corporate governance matters. Her sector expertise spans technology, extractive industries, manufacturing and retail, among others. Yulia is recognised by the Pravo-300 legal ranking for her work in corporate law. She graduated from HSE University and is an advocate and a member of the St Petersburg Bar Association.
Levan Dzhioev joined the firm in 2015 and has since spent more than 10 years defending and representing clients at every stage of criminal proceedings in cases involving economic offences, corruption and other alleged wrongdoing. He also specialises in conducting internal reviews and investigations within clients’ organisations to identify and prevent unlawful conduct. Levan is recognised by the Pravo-300 legal ranking for his work in criminal law. He graduated with honours from Kutafin Moscow State Law University and the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation. He is an advocate and a member of the Moscow Bar Association. Levan has also been the long-standing captain of the firm’s football team.
Alexandra Mednikova specialises in complex litigation, including bankruptcy disputes, and has extensive experience representing clients at every level of the court system, including before the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation. She also advises clients on employment law. Alexandra graduated with honours from HSE University and completed a master’s degree with distinction at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. She also holds an LL.M. in Commercial Law from the University of Manchester. Alexandra is recognised as an expert in her areas of practice by rankings including Pravo-300 and PRO Bankruptcy. Cases on which she has worked have also been named “Disputes of the Year” by Kommersant Publishing House. She is an advocate and a member of the Moscow Bar Association.
Anna Rodygina advises clients on M&A transactions, including transaction structuring and due diligence, as well as on corporate governance, privatisation and investment matters. She has experience managing corporate procedures, securing regulatory approvals, and representing clients before commercial courts and courts of general jurisdiction. Anna graduated with honours from the Faculty of Law at St Petersburg State University. She is an advocate and a member of the Moscow Bar Association.
