EPAM is announcing new appointments at its Moscow office. Since January 1, 2022, Andrey Bastrakov (White Collar Crime Practice) and Alexander Mandzhiev (M&A and Corporate Practice) have been promoted to Partners.

Andrey Bastrakov, Attorney, specialises in handling criminal cases of diverse complexity for over 15 years and has extensive experience in representing clients before arbitrazh courts. Andrey has acted as a defense attorney in a number of high-profile cases including: representing Evgeny Dod, a former Head of RusHydro PJSC, in the criminal investigation over charges of a RUB 73.2 m fraud; representing employees and managers of Red October Volgograd Steel Works in a criminal case over the default of a USD 80 m loan; defending ex-owner of Menshevik Confectionery Ilya Averyanov against charges of murdering a security officer during the hostile takeover of the confectionery plant; and many others.
