Ilya Nikiforov Speaks at LCIA Symposium on International Arbitration

A one-day symposium hosted by the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) was held in Moscow on 5 November, focusing on proceedings in English law to protect the rights of shareholders and the interface between the courts and tribunals. Ilya Nikiforov, Managing Partner of EPAM, member of the LCIA European Users’ Council, participated in the event.

Leading international arbitration practitioners paid particular attention to the new LCIA Arbitration Rules and the practical aspects of handling arbitration alongside parties from Russia and the CIS. As is custom for LCIA events, the sessions were interactive and delegates were given the opportunity to discuss recent industry news and to offer their views on the most interesting aspects of ongoing developments in international commercial arbitration and alternative dispute resolution.

Ilya Nikiforov presented a report at the session entitled ‘The interface between the courts and tribunals (including interim measures)’.
