EPAM to Become Headline Sponsor for GAR.Live Moscow Event
On 21 March, 2019 Global Arbitration Review will hold its first ever GAR.Live event in the CIS, bringing together arbitration and litigation practitioners working in this region, as well as from all over the world.
EPAM is to become a headline sponsor for this prominent event, with the Firm’s partners speaking at the conference.
Discussion topics will include:
- Theory and practice in Russian shareholder disputes;
- Investor-state disputes;
- 60 years of the New York Convention: does the system require dramatic change?

Ilya Nikiforov, Managing Partner at EPAM, will become a keynote speaker and will deliver a report "The Toxic Environment in International Arbitration: What is Our Response?".
Partner, Co-Head of Litigation Practice Dmitry Dyakin is one of the conference Co-Chairs. He will moderate the session entitled ‘Theory and practice in Russian shareholder disputes’ which focuses on the arbitration of shareholder disputes, following changes in the law that make such disputes arbitrable within Russia and not just offshore. Dmitry will also become a co-moderator of the session on ‘Investor-state disputes’.
