On October 1, 2015 Mikhail Kazantsev, Partner of EPAM, was appointed public business Ombudsman on de-offshorisation and capital amnesty by the office of Boris Titov, Business Ombudsman under the auspices of the Russian President.
On October 8, 2013 the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) approved the new list of permanent members of the Committee for Development of Pension Schemes and Social Insurance. Andrey Porfiriev, Partner and the Head of the Legislation and Public Policy Practice at EPAM, joined the Committee as a member.
Attorneys of the Firm’s Legislation and Public Policy practice, officially registered last year, announces the successful completion of an extremely important project: a new public and legal institution, the Institution of Commissioners for Entrepreneurs’ Rights has been officially established in the Russian Federation. Federal Law 78-FZ “On Commissioners for Entrepreneurs’ Rights in the Russian Federation” was signed by the President of the Russian Federation on May 7, 2013.
