On 7 December 2006, the Centre of Legal Information of All-Russia State Library for Foreign Literature, Moscow, hosted the International Bar Association (IBA) roundtable Global and Independent Law Firms in Europe and Russia: Competitive Cooperation Strategies.
Participants of the roundtable included representatives of the International Bar Association, partners of leading Russian, European and international law firms.
Participants had a unique opportunity to discuss openly the pressing issues concerning the current state and development of the Russian and European legal market, with special focus on competitive interaction of national and global law firms.
Ilya Nikiforov, managing partner of EPAM St. Petersburg's law office, took part in the Session I of the roundtable: Global and independent law firms: competition and cooperation – development of strategies – networking.
