Attorneys Ilya Nikiforov and Nikolay Averchenko of EPAM contributed to Volume II of the Textbook on Civil Law released by VELBI publishing house.
Volume II of the three-volume Textbook on Civil Law edited by Doctor of Laws Professor A.P.Sergeev has systematically covered some regulatory liabilities. Aside from covering the current law, the textbook has offered detailed description of the doctrine, including a number of views of the issues raised and application of the civil regulations.
Ilya Nikiforov, a Managing Partner at the Saint Petersburg office of Law Offices EPAM contributed the chapter “Commercial Concession”, in which he generally described the contract of commercial concession, reviewed components and nature thereof, identified potential amendments that may be made to such contract and terms of termination of the same, and described the contract of commercial subconcession.
Nikolay Averchenko, a senior lawyer at the Law Offices, Candidate of Laws, contributed two chapters to the Textbook, “Lease” and “Gratuitous Possession of Property (Bailment)”. In Lease he generally described the lease contract, listed components thereof, nature and terms of termination and offered a detailed classification of lease contracts. In Gratuitous Possession of Property (Bailment) Nikolay Averchenko suggested a general definition of the bailment agreement and described components, nature and terms of termination of the same.
The textbook is designed for students and postgraduates of law institutes and schools, teachers, researchers and practitioners. It may also be useful to anyone interested in the civil law.
The lawyers of EPAM had also contributed to Volume I of the three,, released in January this year.
