The Russian Government has begun preparing a draft law to amend the Federal Law “On Insolvency (Bankruptcy)” among other Russian legislative acts (the “Draft Law”). This Draft Law will have a strong regulatory effect on businesses and has already received mixed reactions from the various parties involved in bankruptcy proceedings.
In order to develop a well-structured expert view on the Draft Law and to consolidate bankruptcy-related expertise, the All-Russia Public Organization Business Russia established a work group for the improvement of bankruptcy proceedings.
Denis Golubev, Litigation Counsel at EPAM, is a member of this work group which is interested in the continual discussion of relevant issues in order to further improve bankruptcy proceedings.
