Attorneys-at-Law of EPAM Contributed to the Academic Commentary to Civil Code of the Russian Federation

Ilya Nikiforov and Nikolay Averchenko, attorneys-at-law at EPAM, contributed to the drafting of the Academic Commentary to Part 2 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation published by Prospect publishers.

The second volume of the three-volume publication edited by Professor A.P. Sergeyev, LLD, is a clause-by-clause academic commentary to Part 2 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation. The commentary is based on the civil law doctrine and its application. All of the norms have been analysed in conjunction with other laws and regulations.

Ilya Nikiforov, managing partner of EPAM St. Petersburg Office commented on Chapter 45 of the Civil Code on commercial concessions, whilst Nikolay Averchenko, LL.M, a senior lawyer at the Firm, has authored the commentary to chapters 34 and 36 of the Civil Code, containing rules on lease and loans.

The Commentary is aimed at legal scholars and practitioners, undergraduate and graduate students of law schools and all those interested in civil law matters.

Attorneys-at-Law of EPAM have previously contributed to Civil Law, a three-volume textbook published in 2008-2009.
