Vladimir Stepanov to speak at a conference entitled “Occupational Safety Arrangements under the New State Policy”
A conference entitled “Occupational Safety Arrangements under the New State Policy” will be held in Moscow on November 19, 2013. Vladimir Stepanov, Lawyer of Employment Practice at EPAM, is to speak during the module entitled “Legal Aspects of the Occupational Safety: Labour Dispute Resolution Practice” which will deal with the analysis of various cases and the development of guidelines for Employers.
A new occupational safety system the characteristics of which show a move to preventive tools and the increase of Employer’s liability is being developed. The Conference attendees will discuss the issues related to the Russian state system of occupational safety, practicalities of the corporate occupational safety arrangements, the Russian Labour Code amendment prospects etc.
