Sergiy Grebenyuk conducts masterclasses for the Students League of the Ukrainian Bar Association

On November 7, 2013 in Kyiv and November 15, 2013 in Kharkiv, Counsel of EPAM in Ukraine, Deputy Head of the Criminal Law and Criminal Procedural Law Committee of Ukrainian Bar Association (UBA), Sergiy Grebenyuk conducted masterclasses for the members of UBA Students League. Both events took place within the frames of League’s IV Ukrainian School on criminal law and process.

During masterclasses the participants paid attention to the problems of court proceedings, influence of the new Code of Criminal Procedure on court proceedings, peculiarities of punishment for economic crimes, malfunctions in the sphere of  credits settlement, violations in the sphere of allocation of budgetary funds,  tax violations (tax evasions), white collar crimes, violations in foreign economic activity. In addition, the students had the possibility to discuss the issue of how to build their own careers, aspects of lawyers work, professionals – their future competitors, necessary skills and competences for every lawyer.

The Students League of the Ukrainian Bar Association, founded in 2005 is a student UBA division that unites law faculty students from all over Ukraine. The Leagues leads its activities in 20 official representative offices in different regions of Ukraine with more than 1400 students from more than 100 educational establishments of Ukraine.
