EPAM Supports 11th International Arbitration Conference “Russia as a Place for Dispute Resolution”
On December 3, 2019, in Moscow the 11th International Arbitration Conference “Russia as a Place for Dispute Resolution” is to be held by the Russian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce – the World Business Organization (ICC Russia). EPAM will be an intellectual partner of the event, and the Firm partners are to speak at the conference.
The event is traditionally aimed to assist in the development of arbitration proceedings and international commercial arbitration in Russia and the CIS, to popularize Russia as a place for dispute resolution and to promote Russian arbitrators on the national and international levels. This year the conference will address the following topics:
- ICC International Court of Arbitration: Basic Mechanics and Latest Developments
- Sanctions in Arbitration
- ArbitrAsian Approach: Peculiarities of Arbitration in Asian Arbitration Institutions
- Issues of Corruption in International Arbitration
- Legal Costs Funding in International Arbitration
Dmitry Dyakin, Partner and Co-Head of the Firm’s Litigation Practice and the Chairman of the ICC Russia Commission on Arbitration, will moderate the first session, which covers the basic mechanics and advantages of the ICC International Court of Arbitration. Partner and Head of the International Arbitration Practice, Evgeny Raschevsky, will speak at the session entitled “Sanctions in Arbitration”.
