Pavel Sadovsky to Speak at the ICC Russia Webinar on Confidentiality of Data in Transnational Contracts
On September 29, 2020, the Russian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce – World Business Organization (ICC Russia) will host the online seminar “Confidentiality and Protection of Data in Transnational Contracts”. This is the second event in the series “Fate of Transnational Contracts in the Post-COVID Economy”, which addresses the adaptation of various clauses of international contracts to the new economic environment. Pavel Sadovsky, Head of Intellectual Property / TMT Practice at EPAM, will speak at the event.
Among others, the speakers will discuss the following topics:
- Jurisdictional control and personal data protection in the context of TikTok and WeChat bans.
- Post-Schrems II reality: cross-border data transfers, contractual clauses and new regulations.
- Cross-border personal data transfer between Russia and the EU: practical aspects.
