Oleksandr Maydanyk and Arsen Miliutin to speak at the International Fiscal Association Ukraine seminar “Application of ECHR Practice in the Ukrainian Tax Disputes”
On 25 February, 2015, EPAM Ukraine will host the seminar “Application of ECHR Practice in the Ukrainian Tax Disputes”, organized by the International Fiscal Association in Ukraine (IFA Ukraine). Oleksandr Maydanyk, Senior Associate of Tax Practice, and Arsen Miliutin, Senior Associate of Domestic Litigation Practice at EPAM Ukraine, will speak at the event.
The event is designed to answer the following questions:
- how the ECHR practice could be applied to the tax disputes in Ukraine;
- discussion on whether Ukrainian courts follow ECHR practice in their considerations;
- positive and negative approaches of Ukrainian courts as to application of ECHR practice in the tax disputes;
- practical recommendations on maximizing the value of ECHR practice when defending their positions in the court.
Tax litigation practitioners, the representatives of the High Administrative Court of Ukraine and the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine will speak at the event.
