Nikita Gurin to Speak at Regional Science – The XI International Symposium for Young Scientists
Nikita Gurin, an attorney at EPAM, will participate at The XI International Symposium for Young Scientists and deliver a speech on the subject of “Certain Problems of Creation and Classification of Artificial Land Plots and Alluvial Areas”. The event will be held in Moscow on 3 November 2010.The event, organised by the Production Forces Research Council, the International Academy for Regional Development and Cooperation in collaboration with the Ministry for Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the Russian Academy of Sciences, will mainly focus on discussing theoretical issues of spatial science and regional economy, current state and prospects of social and economic development of Russian regions, issues in maritime in Russia, environmental aspects, ways to improve economic legislation and economic relations between the Russian Federation and CIS countries.
The presentation by Nikita Gurin will focus on unnaturally developed land sites and alluvial areas, and related issues and solutions. It will also discuss the draft law “On Artificially Created Territories in the Russian Federation and Amendments to Certain Enactments of the Russian Federation” and the amendments to this draft adopted during the second reading.
