Mikhail Kazantsev Is to Moderate Session “Cross Border M&A Transactions Today: Myths, Realities, Execution” Within 7th Annual ‘Mergers and Acquisitions in Russia and CIS’ Conference

On November 12, 2015, International Bar Association (IBA) in cooperation with the IBA European Regional Forum and the Russian Arbitration Association will host 7th Annual ‘Mergers and Acquisitions in Russia and CIS’ Conference in Moscow. Mikhail Kazantsev, Partner at EPAM, will moderate one of the sessions of the event. 

The session aims to find out where the M&A market in Russia and across the CIS is now, what the visible effect of the sanctions and the law on deoffshorization is, and how extraterritorial regulations affect the structuring of M&A transactions. Experienced Russian and international M&A experts will focus on the situation with raising financing for M&A transactions in light of the crisis in the financial markets, and discuss topical issues related to distressed assets and strategic antitrust matters (CTC Media and Schlumberger case study).
