EPAM Supports the 7th Annual National Forum on “Mergers and Acquisitions in Russia”
Leading M&A consultants and Russian businessmen will attend the Mergers and Acquisitions in Russia Forum, which will be held at the Renaissance Moscow Hotel Monarch Centre on 15 December 2010.Grigory Chernyshov, a partner at EPAM, the legal partner of the event, will make a presentation on “M&A Court Precedents: Recent Trends and Issues” during the Judicial Aspects and M&A Disputes in 2010 session.
Mark Rovinsky, the Firm’s senior lawyer and a tax consultant, will speak on the subject of “Tax Audit: Russian Specifics”. The Firm will be also represented by Denis Arkhipov, an attorney-at-law and a senior lawyer, who will join the roundtable discussion on the subject “Specifics of Russian Hostile Takeovers and Corporate Conflicts in 2010. Forecast for 2011”.
The Russian M&A market showed signs of recovery in 2010 leading to growth of the total value of transactions compared to the same period last year. Investments into Russia showed growth and market players adapted to the new environment.
