EPAM Sponsors the Russian Commercial Law Week 2010 in London, UK
The event, organized by English-Russian Law Association, tends to continue the legacy of the first Russian Law Week held several years ago, and aims to ensure the understanding, trust and cooperation between the English and Russian legal systems.
The Russian Commercial Law Week will include a conference and a number of workshops providing an opportunity for the participants to discuss the most pressing matters for the Russian and International law communities, including issues in corporate law, arbitration practice, intellectual property law and insurance law, among other areas of legislation.
The key speaker of the opening conference, which will also be attended by Alexander Konovalov, Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation, as well as other Russian judges and academics, ,will be Anton Ivanov, Chairman of the RF Supreme Arbitrazh Court. The main focus of the conference will be on the issues of Russian commercial law development and Russian court precedents.
The Russian Commercial Law Week 2010 will also feature a meeting between the Russian delegates and the UK minister of justice. The delegation will visit a number of legal institutions and UK educational establishments, including Oxford University and University College London.
