EPAM Partner Evgeny Raschevsky to speak at EU-Russia Conference on Mutual Recognition of Judgments
A conference entitled EU-Russia: on the Way to Full-Fledged Mutual Recognition of Judgments, will take place on February 17, 2012, at Moscow’s Grand Chamber of the Cassation Court. Evgeny Raschevsky, Partner at EPAM, will make a presentation at the event.
The conference will deal with the attempt to compare various approaches and assessment of practical difficulties arising on the way to international treaties between the EU and Russia on private law issues, which could resolve existing problems.
The conference’s program encompasses legislative aspects and judicial practice issues in connection with exequatur, both in Russia and Europe, and topics related to the execution of international conventions on private law matters.
Evgeny Raschevsky will speak about actual effects of non-recognition and non-enforcement of foreign judgments in Russia.
