EPAM Head of IP Pavel Sadovsky to speak at Moscow Law Academy conference

Pavel Sadovsky, Head of Intellectual Property Practice at EPAM, will deliver a presentation at the Kutafin Moscow State Law Academy (MGUA) conference scheduled to take place on February 25, 2012.

The conference is organised by the Kutafin MGUA copyright student club headed by E.A. Morgunova, LL.M., Associate Professor at the Civil and Family Law Department, and S.M.Mikhailov, LL.M., Associate Professor at the Civil Process Department, and the Kutafin MGUA Student Society.

The purpose behind the conference is to get young scientists interested in intellectual property and bring together representatives from various colleges and professions for the sake of further cooperation to resolve intellectual property problems.

The event will focus on the following topics:

• Patent as strategic weapon for business
• Legal regulation of playback of audio recordings and audiovisual works for personal use. Global experience
• Legal aspects of trans-border film distribution business
