Ekaterina Medeyko to Speak at the Legal and Investment Forum ‘Russian Field’

On 1-2 April Kursk will host ‘Russian Field’, the first legal and investment forum. The event is organized by LegalStudies.RU and a number of professional associations of lawyers and entrepreneurs. Ekaterina Medeyko, an attorney-at-law and a senior lawyer at EPAM, will present at the Forum.

It is for the first time that Russian Field: Legal and Investment Forum is to be held in the Central Chernozem Belt. It is intended to become a platform for discussion bringing together both Russian and foreign investors, representatives of federal and regional authorities and specialist organizations that render assistance to investors in agriculture: law firms, lenders, appraisers and others.

The Forum focuses on the following issues:

  • Investment and professional potential of the Central Chernozem Belt and other Russian regions: ways to improve investment opportunities
  • Direct foreign investment in Russian agriculture: from selecting a region to technical implementation
  • Legal, government and municipal guarantees for investment
  • Practical support to investment in manufacturing and agriculture

The Forum will be held as a series of discussions seeking to find optimal ways of cooperation between the state and investors. The Forum will feature a number of events in which a range of opportunities will be presented: plenary sessions, discussions, roundtables, master classes on legal support for investment projects and visiting tours to agriculture enterprises in the Kursk Region.

Ekaterina Medeyko will deliver a presentation during the Investment Project from A to Z plenary session and talk about structuring investment deals.
