Dimitry Afanasiev to Present at Sochi-2010 International Investment Forum

On September 16 - 19, 2010, Sochi, the venue of the Winter Olympics 2014, will host the 9th Sochi-2010 International Investment Forum.

The Forum aims to discuss the economic development in Russia, challenges of improving the investment environment, and provision of investment projects by Russian corporations and regions.

The Forum will be attended by heads of ministries and government institutions, leading Russian and international companies, industry experts, and businessmen to discuss prospects for the Russian economy, the investment market, and ways of developing it.

The institutional environment, including the areas of state administration, is an obvious factor affecting investment, and the persistent influence of the law enforcement agencies is one of the most significant barriers in business development.

Dimitry Afanasiev, Chairman of EPAM, is to take part in the briefing on the New Law on Police and Safety of Business, which will discuss legislative amendments and the challenges of their implementation to protect the rights of business entities in Russia.
