Alexey Karchiomov to Speak at Customs and Transportation Committee Meeting at the American Chamber of Commerce
On 18 November, the American Chamber of Commerce in St. Petersburg will hold a meeting of its Customs and Transportation Committee to discuss the provisions of the prospective Customs Code of the Eurasian Economic Union. Alexey Karchiomov, Senior Associate at EPAM, will give a presentation.
Alexey Karchiomov, the leading expert at the Firm’s International Trade and Customs Practice, will speak about how the concept of an “authorised economic operator” is defined and regulated in the draft Customs Code. Alexey Shvets, former head of the North Western Customs Directorate, will talk on the subject of “The draft Customs Code of the EAEU: Customs checks”.
