On 5 December, the results of the ninth annual Pravo.ru-300 law firms’ ranking were revealed at a gala ceremony at the Ritz Carlton in Moscow. EPAM has once again received a record number of accolades.
The Firm was recommended for all 23 areas of law researched for the Pravo.ru-300 rankings – receiving Tier 1 rankings in 15 of the areas. The Firm was also given an individual award for pro bono work and was ranked first in terms of revenue, number of associates and revenue per associate.
At the federal level, EPAM received top rankings in Litigation, Bankruptcy, Competition Law, Dispute Resolution in Courts of General Jurisdiction, Corporate Law / Mergers and Acquisitions, Finance / Banking Law, Insurance Law, Capital Markets, International Arbitration, International Trade / Customs Law and Foreign Exchange Regulation, Maritime Law, as well as Family/Inheritance Law. In the regional ranking, the Firm was ranked among the best in Arbitration Proceedings, Bankruptcy, Commercial Property / Construction, Corporate Law / Mergers and Acquisitions, Intellectual Property and Criminal Law.
The Pravo.ru-300 ratings are comprised of several categories that take into account both financial statistics and the performance of law firms in all relevant practice areas. Special categories that have recently been introduced include: Pro Bono Work, Educational Efforts, Legislative Drafting, Digital Economy and Distance Services. An open ballot identifies the leading firms in each of these categories.
