Taras Rabko heads Energy and Environmental and Technical Regulations Practices at the Firm's Moscow office. He specializes in competition law, drafting of laws, government relations and constitutional legal proceedings.
From 2006 until 2007 Taras acted as Vice Chief of Staff at the Supreme Arbitrazh Court of the Russian Federation. Prior to that, he worked at the Law Department of St. Petersburg State University.
Since 2007 Taras has been a vice-dean of the Department of Law at the Higher School of Economics and an associate professor at the chair of the Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service. He is a member of the Academic Board at the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia and a member of the Competition Experts Association. Since 2016 he has been a member of the Scientific and Methodological Board of Educational Establishments and Competition Law and Antitrust Regulation Departments of the FAS Russia.
Taras qualified as a lawyer in 1996 after graduating with a degree in Law from the Law Department of the Tver State University. In 2000 he successfully completed postgraduate studies at the Law Department of St. Petersburg State University with a thesis on "Prosecutor’s Office Supervision of the Compliance of Regulations issued by the Representative (Legislative) authorities in the Constituent Entities of the Russian Federation with Statutory Law".
Taras has been admitted to the Leningrad Region Bar Association.
