The “Airports of regional and local airlines” conference took place in St Petersburg on 2 - 5 June as part of the business program conducted at the INTERAEROCOM-2011 exhibition. The book Transactions with Bills of Exchange is based on the Master’s Degree thesis of the author and is dedicated to a controversial issue of how a transaction with a promissory note and a principal transaction influence each other.

Ilya Nikiforov, Managing Partner at EPAM St Petersburg Law Offices, today presented a report entitled Made in the Ex-USSR: Unwinding Eastern Block Scams and Schemes. He talked about contemporary protection methods against fraud during company liquidation, as well as recent amendments in the Russian law relating to bankruptcy and insolvency issues.
