Alexander has been representing the interests of major Russian and international companies for over 10 years. He has extensive experience in defending creditors' interests in the largest bankruptcy proceedings in the country, including matters involving the contestation of debtor transactions, holding individuals controlling the debtor liable for subsidiary responsibility and providing consulting and comprehensive support throughout bankruptcy procedures. In addition, Alexander specialises in defending clients in the most significant and complex construction and environmental disputes, corporate conflicts and antitrust investigations.

Notable projects include:

• Representing the interests of the general contractor for one of the largest sports facilities in Russia, including handling claims with dozens of subcontractors regarding the performance of work, provision of services and supply of materials and structures. Alexander also defended the client in numerous disputes with the construction customer and counterparties over multibillion-rouble penalties and debts.
• Representing the founders of Transaero Aviation Company in one of the largest bankruptcy cases (the total register of creditor claims amounted to approximately RUB 240 bn), including representing the client in one of the largest cases in Russian practice on subsidiary liability (the claim amount exceeded RUB 249 bn) and numerous related disputes.
• Representing Russia's largest restaurant holding in a dispute over the invalidation and subsequent consequences of a franchise acquisition deal involving KFC businesses in the Krasnodar region and Adygea. With a total value exceeding RUB 1.6 bn, the case was recognised as the “Dispute of the Year 2023” by Kommersant Publishing House.
• Representing the interests of Pulkovo Airport operator, "Air Gateway of the Northern Capital," in a high-profile environmental dispute in Northwest Russia (recognised as the "Dispute of the Year 2021" by Kommersant Publishing House).
• Representing a Russian investment company in the bankruptcy case of a major retailer with total claims exceeding RUB 8 bn.
• Representing the competitive creditors of Energocapital, formerly one of Russia's largest brokerage firms, in a dispute concerning the imposition of subsidiary liability on the opponent's beneficiaries for RUB 3 bn.
• Representing a leading Russian manufacturer of lifting equipment in a precedent-setting dispute with a German company over monetary claims under a contract, despite the existence of a prorogation agreement designating the Dresden Court (Germany) as the forum for dispute resolution.
• Representing "Global Metcorp," part of an international group of steel brokers, in the bankruptcy of LLC "Torex" (formerly one of the largest steel suppliers). The project included defending the client's interests in disputes over the inclusion of its claims in the register (worth over RUB 900 million), challenging a contract signed between the debtor and the client, subordinating claims of debtor-friendly creditors and overturning court decisions on the improper appointment of a bankruptcy trustee.
• Representing participants of one of the largest energy companies in disputes with unscrupulous parties attempting to establish corporate control and recover losses using fraudulent schemes.
• Advising an operator of transport infrastructure facilities on overcoming a crisis due to potential bankruptcy fears stemming from difficulties with foreign shareholders, external economic circumstances, financial challenges and the risk of default. Alexander and the Firm’s team of attorneys promptly developed a plan to address signs of bankruptcy and provided effective recommendations for optimising financial management, internal accounting and personnel policies.

The leading Russian legal ranking Pravo-300 recommends Alexander in arbitration (high market), bankruptcy andreal estate, construction  and PPP. The international Best Lawyers ranking recognises him in arbitration, mediation and litigation. In 2019, Alexander was named the Best Young Lawyer of St. Petersburg, winning the "Breakthrough of the Year" nomination in the legal ranking by Delovoy Peterburg newspaper. In 2021 and 2023, cases where Alexander played a key role were recognised as "Dispute of the Year" by Kommersant Publishing House.

Alexander is an active member of the professional community. He was awarded an honorary certificate by the St. Petersburg Bar Association in 2020 for his outstanding achievements in professional activities.

Alexander graduated from the Faculty of Law at St. Petersburg State University with a Master's in Entrepreneurial Law.

He is a member of the St. Petersburg Bar Association.
