Daria advises clients on cross-border litigation and complex special situations, including matters arising from unilateral restrictive measures imposed on Russian companies.

Daria’s recent experience includes:

• Advising a Russian company on the implementation of a strategy to unblock assets held in a foreign jurisdiction;
• Representing a Russian company in a shareholders’ agreement dispute before the High Court of England and Wales; 
• Advising clients on challenges to unilateral restrictive measures imposed by foreign states.

Daria also has extensive experience representing clients before Russian courts at all levels, including the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation.

Daria’s dispute resolution experience in Russian courts includes:

• Representing a contractor in a dispute with a state authority concerning the recovery of a subsidy granted for the development of high-technology equipment due to alleged non-performance of contractual obligations;
• Representing a seaport in disputes seeking recovery of penalties from counterparties under “take or pay” provisions;
• Representing a major Russian insurance company in a claim for insurance indemnity in the amount of RUB 26.1 bn arising from a fire at a power plant;
• Representing a major Russian insurance company in a claim for the recovery of a multi-billion-rouble contractual penalty following termination of an agreement;
• Successfully resolving a long-running corporate dispute in an oil company, resulting in the return of assets valued at over RUB 3.2 bn to the client, the establishment of the opponents’ liability for asset stripping, their compulsory exclusion from the company, and the client becoming the sole shareholder;
• Successfully representing seaports in proceedings related to breaches of environmental and sanitary-epidemiological regulations.

Daria graduated with honours from the Faculty of Law of the Higher School of Economics and obtained a master’s degree from Kutafin Moscow State Law University.

Daria is admitted to the Moscow Bar Association.
