Andrey advises and represents clients in Russian courts, specialising in disputes arising from contractual relations, as well as bankruptcy and corporate disputes.

Selected highlights:

• Advising a major oil producer in a dispute concerning a foreign counterparty’s withdrawal from a contract due to the imposition of anti-Russian sanctions.
• Successfully representing a major landlord of a warehouse facility in a dispute over the recovery of unjust enrichment, as well as in a dispute involving a foreign counterparty’s withdrawal from a lease agreement due to the imposition of anti-Russian sanctions.
• Defending shareholders of a large industrial company in a dispute initiated by the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office over the recovery of dividends received by the shareholders.
• Successfully defending a major real estate developer against a contractor’s claim seeking to increase the contract price by RUB 2 billion.

Andrey earned his Master’s degree from the Faculty of Law at the National Research University Higher School of Economics and is currently pursuing a postgraduate course.
