Vladimir Talanov Judges Final Rounds of International WTO Law Competition
At the invitation of the European Law Students’ Association (ELSA), Vladimir Talanov, Senior Associate in the International Trade and Customs Practice at EPAM, served as a member of the panel for the final round of the ELSA Moot Court Competition (EMC2), organised with support from the World Trade Organization (WTO).
EMC2 is a simulated hearing of the WTO dispute settlement system. Teams of students study a fictitious case and present their arguments for both the complainant and the respondent before a panel of trade law experts. Of the 99 teams which took part in the regional rounds, just 25 proceeded to the final stages and award ceremony, held in Geneva on 20–23 June 2018.
