Ilya Nikiforov, a managing partner at EPAM, delivered a speech at the 2nd Annual Conference on ‘Legal Services Market: Current Trends’, which was organized by Vedomosti newspaper and was held in St Petersburg on 18 November 2010.
The 1st Conference on ‘Legal Services Market 2009’ was a great success and was well attended by St Petersburg’s leading practicing lawyers. This year the speakers presented reports on ways of developing the legal services market during crisis, improving performance of legal departments in companies, and on how corporate lawyers and consultants should cooperate.
The Conference provided a platform for large law firms, bar associations and corporate lawyers to discuss current trends in the legal services market, to identify topical issues and solutions, and share information relevant to the legal business in Russia.
The event was be attended by managing partners of Russian and foreign law firms, heads of legal departments, lawyers, attorneys, professionals of law-related industries: auditors, patent attorneys, corporate lawyers and etc.
