The award ceremony for the winners of “Russia’s Best Legal Department 2009” contest was held today in Moscow. The ceremony, sponsored by EPAM, was attended by over 200 top legal professionals in Russia, including the heads of legal departments – the nominees, Advisory Council members, partners from leading Russian and international law firms and public officials.

“Russia’s Best Legal Department 2009” is now in its fourth year and is considered to be the key annual event for corporate lawyers. The winners are selected on “the best chosen by the best" principle, where nominees are assessed by an Advisory Council that consists of the last year winners and heads of leading Russian law firms. EPAM is represented by Dimitry Afanasiev, the Chairman. 

Dimitry Afanasiev congratulated the winners and thanked all participants for their contribution in raising the value and the status of the legal profession and an exceptional legal support given to Russian companies.
