Ilya Nikiforov and Nikolay Averchenko contributed to the drafting of Part 3 of Academic Commentary of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation.

The Volume Three of the four-volume publication edited by Professor A.P. Sergeyev, LLD, is a clause-by-clause academic commentary to Part 3 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation. The commentary, based on the civil law doctrine and its application, analyses all Articles in conjunction with other laws and regulations.

Ilya Nikiforov, managing partner of EPAM St. Petersburg Office commented on Articles 1171-1174 and 1208-1213 of the Civil Code on inheritance management and protection, and other aspects of governing law in international relations.

Nikolay Averchenko, LL.M, a senior lawyer at EPAM, has authored the commentary to Articles 1118-1123, 1137-1140, 1149, and 1205-1207 of the Civil Code, containing rules on testament and property law in international relations.

The Commentary is aimed at legal scholars and practitioners, undergraduate and graduate students of law schools and all those interested in civil law matters.

Attorneys-at-Law of EPAM have previously contributed to Civil Law, a three-volume textbook published in 2008-2009.
