On February 9, Moscow hosted a congress of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP), its agenda covered inter alia election of new members to the RSPP Executive Board. Following the voting, Dmitry Dyakin, partner and a co-head of the litigation practice at EPAM, was elected to the RSPP Executive Board.
Dmitry Dyakin has been representing clients in contentious matters, including international arbitration, for more than 20 years. His specialises in complex transnational proceedings. His clients include state and major state-owned corporations, Russian and foreign companies operating in the oil and gas industry, banking sector, construction and agriculture. In 2017, Dmitry Dyakin was appointed deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the Arbitration Centre at RSPP.
The Executive Board is RSPP’s collective governing body in charge of the overall management of the Union in between the congresses. The Executive Board is comprised of 150 individual representatives of the largest Russian corporations and businesses, as well as researchers, economists and community leaders.
