On 16 November, the Delovaya Rossiya (Business Russia) Monitoring and Oversight Committee, held its first session since the renewal of its operations. Among those attending was Andrey Porfiriev, Partner at EPAM.
The Committee’s main areas of activity include analysing efforts to reform monitoring and oversight functions, as well as collaborating with public organisations and monitoring and oversight bodies to develop common approaches. It focuses on eliminating surplus and duplicate requirements, and creating clear mechanisms for ensuring transparency and controllability in monitoring and oversight activity, as well as perfecting systems of personal accountability for management and officials in supervisory bodies. Andrey Porfiriev is an expert in providing legal support to companies undergoing reviews by monitoring and oversight bodies, and has been actively involved in the initiatives of public organisations and business associations to reform monitoring and oversight activity for several years.
