Competition Litigation in Russia
Pursuant to Russian competition legislation, both competition authorities and businesses may bring for breach of competition law in Russia. Specifically, competition authorities may seek to invalidate agreements, resolutions of government authorities restricting competition, and deals concluded between businesses without the approval of competition authorities. If an action is ruled a breach of competition legislation, businesses may seek compensation for losses resulting from this action or agreement.
