About the Seminar
In recent years, court practice has significantly evolved under the influence of economic and geopolitical events. Russian companies now face multiple challenges in cross-border disputes, such as difficulties engaging foreign counsel or paying arbitration fees due to sanctions and restrictions.
In 2023, EPAM Law’s litigation team shared early insights on dispute resolution in turbulent times at the conference «Disputes with Foreign Companies and Bankruptcy in Russia: How Can Top Management Protect Their Business?»
Meanwhile, Russian court practice has developed new nuances, particularly in the use of procedural tools designed to protect the interests of Russian companies under sanctions. In focus are Articles 248.1 and 248.2 of the Russian Commercial Procedure Code, introduced to safeguard Russian entities from unfair litigation exposure abroad.
At this seminar, EPAM Law’s litigators will discuss the current trends, effective defence strategies, and the future prospects of applying these mechanisms.
Target Audience
Business owners, top management, heads of legal departments, commercial and financial directors, and chief accountants of large companies.
