Pavel Sadovsky to Attend International Аnti-Counterfeiting Forum

Pavel Sadovsky, Head of Intellectual Property Practice at EPAM, is scheduled to present at the First International Anti-Counterfeiting Forum organized by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and Non-Profit Partnership Antikontrafakt in Moscow on October 22-24, 2012.

This forum, held with the support of the Russian Government, is seeking to improve the national policy in the area of protection of intellectual property rights and a system of measures to counter production and distribution of counterfeit and fake goods as well as formation of a civilized market in Russia. It is expected to be attended by the country’s top public officials, CEOs of the world’s leading corporations, renowned Russian and international experts in the area of protection of intellectual property rights.

Pavel Sadovsky will deliver a report titled “Infringement of Rights to Trademarks in the Light of Recent Legal Views of the Russian Supreme Arbitrazh Court” on the forum’s second day at a session dedicated to legal protection of patent rights and identities and its role in countering dissemination of counterfeit goods.
