Business owners, senior executives, heads of legal departments, commercial and financial directors, and chief accountants of large companies.
About the Seminar
Over the past year, there has been a significant increase in claims filed by the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office seeking the confiscation of businesses in favour of the state. Grounds for asset seizures include alleged violations of Russian privatisation laws, anti-corruption breaches, and abuses linked to the buyout of assets from foreign owners.
What are the key risks of asset expropriation? How can businesses build an effective defence strategy when served with a claim? What is essential to know about the deprivatisation process?
Drawing on real-world case studies, EPAM Law’s experts in white-collar defence and business protection will provide practical insights into current asset recovery cases and explain how to manage these complex risks.
