Grigory Chernyshov to Speak at the Second Volga Region Legal Forum in Kazan

On 4 February 2011 Grigory Chernyshov, Partner at EPAM, will speak at the Second Volga Region Legal Forum organized by Legal Studies. The Legal Forum will be held in Kazan. The event will bring together leading operators of the legal services market in the Volga Region.

Grigory Chernyshov will make a presentation entitled “Dispute Resolution: What’s Going on, What to Count on?” at the second session. The session will be attended by arbitrators, leaders of judicial practices at legal firms and heads of legal departments at federal and regional companies.

The following matters will be discussed at the session:

  • Is it convenient and clear for the business to resolve disputes in arbitration courts? If not, then by what alternative procedures?
  • What needs to be improved and in what way?
  • What is the role of lawyers and their qualifications (both of judges and other legal professionals) in supporting court proceedings?
  • How does business perceive dispute resolution services?
  • What factors, influenced by players of the legal services market, make the justice system more adjusted to supporting favourable environment for doing business?
