On 26th/27th June London hosted LexisNexis Butterworths’ International Litigation and Fraud Conference. Cosponsor of the event, EPAM was represented by Maria Miroshnikova and Anna Yakovleva who spoke on “Evidence gathering, remedies and relief in Russia”.
International Litigation and Fraud Conference at the Cafe Royal in London brought together more than 100 of delegates and speakers from all over the world. Topics for discussion included effective management and co-ordination of international litigation, tactical issues on choice of jurisdiction, international investigation and others.
Maria Miroshnikova and Anna Yakovleva, attorneys at EPAM, spoke at the panel on gathering evidence and interim remedies and relief available in Russia. Issues covered in the report included legal grounds for evidence gathering in Russian Federation, foreign litigation and commissions to Russian courts, Russian litigation, possibilities and legal grounds for security measures in Russian Federation.
