Daniil Petrov previously worked as the Deputy Head of the Legal Department of the St. Petersburg State Property Management Committee. As the head of the litigation group Daniil Petrov was in charge of judicial protection of the property rights of St. Petersburg and the Russian Federation.
D. Petrov has repeatedly represented government interests in the Supreme Court and in the Supreme Arbitration Court of the Russian Federation.
Daniil Petrov graduated magna cum laude from the Law Department of St.petersburg State University in 1998. He defended his Ph.D. thesis at the Commercial Law Department of St. Petersburg State University in 2002. In 2004 Daniil Petrov was awarded a Master’s degree (with merit) in Public Policy and Management at the University of Manchester in the U.K.
