Denis Golubev, Alexandra Mednikova and Daniil Mogilevsky to Speak at the Pravo.ru Litigation Forum
On 19 November 2024, the annual Litigation Forum, organised by the legal information portal Pravo.ru, will take place in Moscow.
Denis Golubev, Counsel in the Litigation and Arbitrazh Practice at EPAM Law, Alexandra Mednikova, Senior Associate, and Daniil Mogilevsky, Associate, will speak at the event.
Participants will discuss a wide range of topics, including:
- How the role of legal counsel in court has evolved in recent years
- The new law on the legal profession: another step in its development
- Enforcing Russian court decisions abroad: practical considerations
- Cooperation with foreign counsel in cross-border disputes
- Arbitrability of disputes
- An overview of recent amendments to the Arbitrazh Procedure Code: first results and practical tools
- Courtroom etiquette as a key to a modern lawyer’s success
Alexandra Mednikova will speak in the opening session on the topic: «The Competent Lawyer Through the Client’s Eyes: How Can a Business Choose the Right Counsel?», (10:00–11:00).
Daniil Mogilevsky will take part in the third session, focusing on the preparation of procedural documents (13:45–15:15).
Denis Golubev will lead a masterclass on courtroom speaking skills, titled: «Courtroom Speech as a Key Factor in Winning a Case». He will share practical advice on preparing for public speaking and building persuasive arguments (16:15–17:45).
