Dmitry Dyakin to Participate in 2018 Annual Conference of the ABA Section of International Law

On 17-21 April, 2018, the Annual Conference of the ABA (American Bar Association) Section of International Law will be held in New York. The main theme for the сonference is «At the Crossroads: The Fusion of Private and Public International Law». Partner at EPAM, Co-head of litigation practice Dmitry Dyakin will speak at the event.

Dmitry Dyakin is invited to make a report at the Panel «Hidden in Plain Sight: Pursing U.S.-Based Assets in Cross-Border Insolvency and Enforcement of Judgments Proceedings». During the discussion high-powered lawyers and experts from different jurisdictions will talk over the issues of public and private interests affected by the practice of debtors concealing assets in jurisdictions outside the scope of local insolvency laws, challenges faced by creditors in crossborder insolvency proceedings, enforcement of Russian judgments in the U.S., and extraterritorial effect of Russian insolvency laws.
